We will be spending four full days in the forest and three full days in class and workshops processing the plant material collected during our outings.13308584_1065250753533503_3266730860814565674_o

Students will learn the basics of making tinctures, herbal and tree sap salves, healing vinegars, medicinal soaps, and herbal beers. You will take your finished projects home.

Each student will receive a copy of Medicinal Plants of the Northwest, 130 Monographs, plus a CD reviewing what was taught during the week-long intensive not covered in the book.

riverBreakfast begins at 9:00 A.M. each morning, with coffee and tea available by 7:30 A.M.

Field trips and class begin at 10:00 A.M. and end at 5:00 P.M. each day.

Sauna will be hot at 5:00 P.M.

Evening meals will be served at 6:30 P.M.

All accommodations are off-the-grid, meaning compost outhouses and chamber pots, wood burning stoves, and solar lights. Full bathrooms and showers are available in the main house.
