Mavens’ Haven was founded by Master Herbalist Darcy Williamson, who has been offering classes, retreats, and forays from her studio in McCall, Idaho for years. Every Wednesday her studio welcomes apprentices who learn how to find and ethically harvest wild plants and create medicinal preparations. Williamson wanted to provide apprentices and guests an alternative location to the high mountain atmosphere of McCall. The Salmon River terrain is a markedly different ecosystem, generally about twenty degrees warmer. |
