a retreat for women facilitating reclamation of deep wisdom & sharing tools for troubled times
with Tracey Kindall
June 5 – 8, 2026
Life can feel crazy for a lot of reasons, and lately everything has felt particularly uncertain. Meeting the moment can be hard, but there are skills and practices we can hone and share to stay well, act effectively, and participate in creating a beautiful life and better world.
We already have everything we need to meet the moment before us. We just need to remember what we already know, deep down in our bones –
• who we are at the core of our beings
• how to stay grounded and well
• how to build community
• how to use daily and seasonal rituals to stay present
• how to nourish our imaginations
• how to work with story – storycatching, storykeeping, storytelling
• how to participate dynamically in the more-than-human web of life
• how to “make of our lives a holy refuge” for others
This 4-day retreat offers a blend of hands-on activities, discussions, stories, meditations, and movement to support your journey back to your center.

Your guide will be Tracey Kindall, folklore scholar, history teacher, and life design coach. Tracey started Earth•Story•Spirit in 2019 to help people nourish deep connection to the natural world, build strong imaginations, and live in active participation with awe, wonder, and possibility. She has many years’ worth of experience teaching, coaching, and designing supportive programs.

Healing meals rooted in the traditions of Ayurveda and lovingly prepared by practitioner Falene Reeve, AHC, of Paathia. Ayurveda will be woven through the retreat structure.
Whatever the refuge you’re seeking – a moment to recover from fear and overwhelm, a quiet space to listen for your next right step, support for your personal journey, a reconnection with nature, creative inspiration, or just a general reboot – you’ll leave this retreat feeling rested, hopeful, and equipped for what lies ahead.

There is something in the ancient wisdoms that has information for us in this moment about how we might move into the future. ~ Sonya Renee Taylor
