Preserving the living yeast and preparing sacred brew under the purview of medicine women around the world. Inspired by this ancient tradition, we brew and share a variety of beers at Mavens’ Haven. Our orchards, gardens and surrounding forests provide abundant plants for our health and delight.
Our amply-stocked beer cellar calls for some celebration. Amy will create a five-course dinner inspired by the Havens’ sparkling herbal beers brewed by Renée over several years. Your gourmet dinner will also feature seasonal, organic produce from the Haven and the forest.
The beers are made with organic sugar, wine yeasts, and plants. They are free of hops and malt. The berry, flower, and fruit beers resemble sparking wines or champagne, while the Horehound beer comes closest to an ale.
You are also invited to a brewing class & lunch Saturday, where you will engage in each stage of the brewing process. Sunday morning will feature a pastry class and brunch.
Each class and the dinner are offered separately.
