Spend a rustic weekend in a traditional style Basque sheep wagon. The Sheep Wagon is furnished with a
wood stove for heat, wash basin and bowl for personal hygiene, a chamber pot, and large fluffy towels
for evening saunas. The small dining table pulls out from beneath the bed (queen‐size with memory
foam mattress). You may arrive at your convenience any time after noon on Friday. You will have ample
time to settle in and become familiar with your quarters before dinner.
Your candle light evening meal will be served in the main Mavens’ Haven dining area at 6:00 P.M. Bring
your favorite wine or beverage to accommodate your meal.
Friday meal choices are Lamb Shanks in red wine sauce, Roasted Organic Chicken with Maven Havens’
potatoes, or Vegetarian Lasagna.
Breakfast will be available at the main Mavens’ Haven kitchen from 8:00 to 10:00 A.M.
Lunch will be provided at noon at the main Mavens’ Haven kitchen. If, however, you want to explore
the area and take the lunch with you, it can be arranged to be ready between 10:00 and noon. If there
are any dietary preferences, please let us know when making reservations, otherwise it will be at our
discretion (and delicious).
Your Saturday candle light evening meal will be served in the main Mavens’ Haven dining area at 6:00
P.M. Bring your favorite wine or beverage to accommodate your meal.
Saturday meal choices are Dutch Oven Corned Beef Brisket with cabbage and roasted red potatoes,
Grilled Salmon with wild rice pilaf, or Vegetarian Spinach Enchiladas.
Breakfast will be available at the main Mavens’ Haven kitchen from 8:00 to 10:00 A.M.
Sauna will be hot from 7:00 ‐ 9:00 P.M. If you would like the sauna later, please let us know ahead of
time. If prefer a shower rather than a sauna during your stay, clean towels (and the shower) will be
provided at the main Mavens’ Haven building.
During your Valentine’s Weekend you are welcome to relax in the main house. There is a nice library,
movie room and game room for your enjoyment. Sunday morning please join us in the Mavens’ Haven
kitchen for breakfast.
Mavens’ Haven also has a full‐size pickleball court. Paddles and balls are available if you wish to use the
court.
